Challenge
A home builder had materials, appliances and tools arriving on lots long before permanent power was energized. Traditional cameras could not go up until the site was finished, which is exactly backwards.
Solution
IQWatch S90 units deployed on the active lots, running on solar with LTE backhaul and on device detection.
Outcome
Coverage started when the first valuable materials arrived instead of at final inspection, and the units moved to the next phase as the build progressed.
Day one
coverage on an unpowered lot
Builders lose material in the window between delivery and lockup. That window is when nothing is watching.
A solar unit does not care about the panel schedule. It goes up when the lumber does.
When the phase finishes, the same unit relocates to the next block.

“The security clock should start when the valuables arrive, not when permanent power is ready.”
