Watching the system itself.

Challenge

Off grid security only works if you know the unit is healthy. Without visibility into solar input, battery voltage and state of charge, a dealer finds out about a problem when the customer calls.

Solution

The first IQWatch pilot deployment was instrumented so solar power, battery voltage, load and state of charge could be monitored remotely in real time.

Outcome

That telemetry became part of the platform, so dealers can see unit health remotely instead of rolling a truck to check on it.

Remote

visibility into power and battery state

The hardest part of off grid is not the camera. It is the power budget behind it.

Pilot units were monitored down to the battery so the production systems would not need babysitting.

Remote health data means fewer service calls and better margins on monitoring.
